Weargoodthoughts.com According to their website: "weargoodthoughts was developed by a husband and wife team from an idea to spread positive and inspiring thoughts to others with a message on a shirt. Yes, a basic idea, but imagine the ripple effect it can have. If we can inspire people to promote positive environmental or social change by wearing one of our shirts, then we have succeeded. If by wearing one of our shirts, someone just feels better about themselves or makes another person smile, mission accomplished. Ultimately, our children are what matter most , and if we can help create a greener, happier, better place for them then we have all done our job. Here’s to wearing good thoughts!" Please join me in congratulating them in this distinct honor and please visit their website for some very cool thoughts! Marketing Tips (This is a post from http://jimsmarketingblog.com. I thought it was so right on, I just had to share!) Stop pushing! Posted by Jim Connolly 11 June, 2009 If you are walking down the street and a stranger pushes you, they get your attention! Of course, the attention you are giving them is 100% negative, because people don’t like being pushed! If your sales or marketing is based on pushing, you can expect the same negative attention from the marketplace. Common types of pushy marketing Cornering a stranger at a networking event or conference, while you recite your well-rehearsed “elevator pitch” to them. Sending people unsolicited email, no matter how “special” your offer is. They will consider it spam and everyone hates spam. Sending automated, DM’s (direct messages) to strangers, who have just followed you on Twitter, telling them to click links or add you to their FaceBook or LinkedIn network etc. If you want people to be attracted to you, your business and what you have to offer, don’t push them away. Blurbsville, USA - Blurbsville is our little green marketing community. Many people are interested in promoting their site or cause, but in these times, don't want to spend too much.
